Well, in case you didn't know, I am a master at procrastination. Sometimes I spend hours facebook stalking, youtubing, or looking for photography ideas, but sometimes
I bake. In this case, instead of studing for a math test, I invented a new pie.
It has a Vanilla Wafer crust, a layer of cream cheese, and a later of blueberry awesomeness. ((Blueberries have been on sale at the grocery store, so it has just been a blueberry week.))
So first, the Crust.
1 1/2 Cup of Vanilla Wafer Crumbs
1 Tbls. Sugar
1 Tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 Cup Butter
Mix together Wafer crumbs, sugar, and cinnamon. Melt Butter then mix with the dry ingredients. Press mixture into 9 inch pie pan. Put crust in the oven at 350 for about 8 or 9 minutes. Let Cool.
Cream Cheese Layer.
4 oz. Cream Cheese, Softened.
1/2 Cup Confectioners' Sugar
1/2 Cup Cool Whip
1 Tsp Vanilla
Beat cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread into crust.
Blueberry Layer.
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
In a saucepan, combine the sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, water and lemon juice until smooth; stir in blueberries. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Cool. Spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until serving.
And now you have the best tasting procrastionation ever. Enjoy NOT doing whatever it is you should be doing instead. :p
Oh, and sorry for not have more/better pictures. It was eaten too fast! (not to...brag or anything...)

So, if you want to know my opinion...
Which you do, otherwise you would be reading my blog. Well, you want to know my opinion on Lady Gaga...I think she is absolutely fantastic. People are always afraid to accept things (and in this case people) that are different. It is human nature to cling to what we know and are comfortable with. But really, I think Miss Gaga is awesome. She doesn't care what people think of her and she embraces her individuality. There isn't anyone out there quite like her, as apposed to other artists who sometimes are just interchangable. Know what mean? Some times I'll be listening to the radio and just think, "Didn't I just hear this song?"
And whats so wrong with being a little different? Everyone is different, but when some people are "more different" than others all of a sudden people freak out and immediately want to critisize the person! Its even more difficult when you're in the spot light. The media loves to tear anyone down who doesn't ALWAYS look like a barbie doll. The real people who are themselves, constantly get attacked with ugly rumors and "upturned noses".
I think Lady Gaga is extremely talented. I may not completely agree with some things in her songs (or sometimes the things she wears), but hey, in case you were not aware, we do in fact live in a free country. And it is definitely not my place, or anyone else's, to judge her. It is a pity more people can't be more like her and be who they truly are and be proud of it.
Also, what about Michael Jackson, Marilyn Manson, or Ozzy Osbourne? They're all incredibly talented and a little "out there" to say the least. So, in conclusion, always be who you truly want to be. You never know where it will take you. Let the haters hate because in the grand scheme of things, they don't really even matter. Like my mother tells me (and like your mother most likely tells you) they are just JEALOUS! Mom's are always right.
So Lady Gaga and anyone else who dares, let your freak flag fly!!!

David and Rachel = Cutest Couple ever!
Rachel is one of my roomates (and best friends) at school. Her and her boyfriend David are some of my really good friends and we always have fun running around making trouble. ;) Before they had to part for the summer they asked me to get a couple of shots of them. They are so unbelievably sweet! They were so affectionate and loving towards eachother and complete naturals infront of the camera. I love taking their pictures so much and I was so bummed we got rained out! Hopefully I'll have the chance to get some more in th future though. Love y'all! Enjoy. :)

Try not to become a man of success but rather to become a man of value. --Albert Einstein
Thats whats up. Albert Einstein was the man! I've been reading some of his quotes and some of the he said were amazing and inspiring! I would definitely recomend looking up some of his quotes if you in a bored googling mood.

And I also wish I was hanging out with a friend. Summers a great fun and all, but I miss my friends from school!
About to:
Go read some more of 1984. I'm totally loving this book! It is kind of freaking me out a bit, though. I am so in love with Orwell's incredible writing style!
Well, until next time!

When in Rome
I recently went on a trip to Greece and Rome with some people from my school. It was my first time ever out of the country and it was definitely an experience. I thought I would post a few of my favorite pictures from my trip. I hope I can go back one day. Enjoy. :)
